Two small blocks of flats in garden-like surroundings.

Kartanonkreivi Housing consists of two two-story houses with four apartments in each. The town plan would have allowed higher buildings but a low-rise apartment block that would cover most of the building area was considered to be a better alternative. Consequently balconies couldn't be built. Instead, ground floor apartments have small yards and basements, the spaces in which receive natural light due to the sloping lot. First floor apartments have roof terraces. Deep building volumes have been given a shape similar to one-family houses.
